Welcome to 2010! We’re excited for a new decade and we expect it to be a great year! We’re getting busy with new listings and buyers writing offers, so it’s a great time to list or sell real estate in the Keweenaw of Michigan. Check out the street cam to the right–the 2nd annual Jibba Jabba Rail Jam is happening January 16 & 17 on Huron Street in Houghton, right along side the State Wide Building. We’re a core sponsor this year, so come on out and watch some great local community snowboard action this weekend. If you can’t make it, you are welcome to catch a few glimpses of it on the web cam. It updates several times a minute. Between now and then the snow is being positioned and shaped for the competition. Summer is gone–it’s 40 outside and we’re having a beautiful Fall day in the Keweenaw. We’ve had a great summer as we sold a lot of real estate. And, the street reconstruction project on Shelden Avenue is complete. The new pavers and sidewalks are awesome, and the new street lighting really makes downtown Houghton shine. Come on downtown and check it out. There are fabulous buys to be had in local real estate, so it’s a great time to buy.
